Soft Cinema - Navigating the Database is a DVD-Video that presents three films made with the Soft CInema system. It uses DVD-Video programming to produce a result that resembles the actual computational system. The three films give an idea of the the results of the three year research project conducted by Lev Manovich and Andreas Kratky. The DVD together with a book containing an explanation of the principles and ideas of the project is a publication of the Soft Cinema project. It is published by MIT Press.
